Incredibly Edible Pomegranates

Pomegranates are not only an incredible edible, they have a great aroma and are extremely healthy!

It's packed with Vitamin C, potassium, niacin, folic acid, fiber and has antioxidants.

It's often used in dietary supplements because the extract is sugar free, it has zero calories and zero additives.

Although only the seeds of this luscious fruit are edible, its rich color makes it useful and pretty in centerpieces, garlands and wreaths.

The color red tends to speed up your heart rate boosting the blood flow which in turn makes you more sensitive to smells, sounds and tastes.

The aroma is invigorating because the citrus scent stimulates your brain's trigeminal nerve that manages alertness.

Try cutting the top off and scrape out the seeds, then insert a votive candle in the gourd.

Punicic oil locks moisture into the skin and helps prevent aging signs.

It contains physoestrogen which is a natural compound that levels the hormone fluctuation that causes PMS symptoms.

Research indicates pomegranate-juice may be effective against prostrate cancer and osteoarthritis.

Facial Mask Recipe

Using the seeds, mix 2 teaspoons of the fruit's seeds with 1 tablespoon of plain yogurt and 1 tablespoon of the fruit's juice.

Blend until it's smooth. Apply this to your face for approximately 5 to 10 minutes. Rinse off with cool water.
