Tasty Nutritious Plums

Plums always taste best when eaten fresh from the tree.

They are nutritious in any form, including dried prunes.

But...did you know they can help shrink spider veins?

They contain Vitamin A and Vitamin K and are known for their "dietary fiber" effect.

The Deep Rich Color

The deep purple-plum hue can calm the nervous system. It creates a relaxed mind. The color stimulates deep concentration.

Make a Leg Beautifying Sorbet from Plums

Delight in one a day and help reduce spider veins. Vitamin K helps produce thrombin, a protein that helps thicken blood. The thick blood is rerouted to bigger blood vessels. This helps the spider veins to contract.

Sorbet Recipe

Ingredients:
Face cream
  • 12 plums (pitted and peeled)
  • 1 cup of orange juice
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
Instructions:
  1. Puree in a blender.
  2. Pour into a loaf pan.
  3. Freeze for 4 hours or longer.
  4. Process 30 minutes before serving.
  5. Keep frozen until ready to eat.

Aromatic Stress Relief

One smell of this ripe fruit soothes the brain region and brings on pleasure. The fruity scents directly affect the limbic system. This system manages stress.

Indulge in a candle scented with this fruit. Let the aroma carry the stress away and relieve the tension in your body.

A Facial Mask that Helps Protect From the Sun

The antioxidant, Vitamin A, provides astral protection from the sun’s rays. It reverses UV damage by advancing the regeneration of skin cells. A weekly facial can keep your complexion looking younger and fresher.

Facial Mask Recipe

Ingredients and Instructions:
  • Blend 2 pitted and peeled plums and 1 egg white until smooth.
  • Use your fingertips to apply the mixture to your face.
  • Let it sit for 20 minutes.
  • Rinse skin with cool water.
